Nothing really going on today. All my energy was sapped this morning by my drive into the doctor's office. A major spike in stress and good old fashioned road rage thanks to the ass-clown parade that is the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority. The Pike is a straight shot thru the state from East to West (or West to East - whatthefuckever). It would be a perfectly easy ride but for the tolls. Tolls clog up traffic in Weston, tolls clog up traffic in Allston/Brighton, anywhere there's a toll there's traffic and lots of it. The one and only point to said tolls are to pay the salaries of all Mass Pike Authority employees.
Toll booths were supposed to come down years ago - read here or here for more info on this clusterfuck. One of the things I love most about the Turnpike Authority is how they don't refer to it as a toll fee....it's a toll schedule.
Anyway, bottom line is my drive in today sucked the life out of me. I'm tired and cranky and if my right eyelid doesn't stop twitching I'm going to flip the fuck out. Surely a stress induced eye-twitch is grounds for a lawsuit against the Turnpike Officials. They've turned me into a lazy eyed freak and it's extremely detrimental to my quality of life or some crap like that.
