Another cold day in Beantown (and it's surrounding burbs). Boston.com is billing it as a "cold snap with record cold temperatures". Nothing like pointing out the painfully obvious. Sky was clear last night for the total lunar eclipse but of course, at roughly 20 degrees, who's crazy enough to stand outside and watch? Well, me actually if only for a few minutes. I took a peek with the binoculars but even as bundled up as I was I couldn't stay out for long. As luck would have it though, the window in our spare bedroom gave us a good warm view of the red moon.
The highlight of my day yesterday was the arrival of a Save the Date card from my pal Andy in San Francisco. He's getting married next August in HAWAII!!! Oh happy day, I am so there. Jeff and I have already figured on spending two weeks in paradise. Needless to say I can't wait and have already ordered some Maui travel brochures.
The low point of my day yesterday - wasting 105 minutes of my life on Charlie's Angels Full Throttle. Fucking terrible. And I do understand it's nothing more than a T & A parade but for fuck sake, give me some semblance of a plot. Since Cameron Diaz was in this, there was the usual scene where she shakes her ass all over the place for no reason whatsoever. Well, ok there is a reason (silly Diana!)....more fuel needed to be added to the wank fest for all the boys watching at home. It didn't even have the cool soundtrack the first one movie had, very sad indeed.
Today Jeff and I saw Matrix Revolutions. What to say? It had it's cool and very exciting moments. It also had a lame ass ending. And what was with the baby-faced, giant machine head, great and powerful oz behind the curtain? Duh.
Today's high point, my cat caught a mouse while we were out. Good Girl! I got me a super little hunter.
