This is the thing with Jupiter's Hunter. Jupiter (Roman name of Zeus) is king of the Olympian gods. Diana (Roman name of Artemis) is his daughter and the goddess of the hunt. I am Jupiter's Hunter. Luna Hunter is another moniker I use as Diana is also goddess of the moon. Anyway, that's the deal with the the site name I picked on a whim. Always did like Greek mythology. I got to thinking about it because I just can't seem to settle on a look or theme for my blog.
Jupiter also happens to be my favorite planet in the solar system. I once dreamt I was on a hill and looking at the night sky with binoculars. When I trained the glass on Jupiter it hung in the sky larger than the moon and it's Great Red Spot was swirling in front of me. I was so dizzied by the sight of it I slumped to the ground. I have a sketch of that dream somewhere. In colored pencil no less.
