All said and done about a foot and a half of snow fell in Framingham this weekend. Strangely enough, the Route 495 belt was spared the brunt of the storm. Most folks got lots more so I suppose we should consider ourselves lucky we only got eighteen inches as opposed to thirty. Pats vs. Dolphins today was fun. A complete shut out and the wonderful New England fans out in full force at Gillette Stadium throwing all that snow around like so much confetti. Hardy, fukin har har.

So I'm having a terrible time picking this Sunday's Song of the Week. I want it to be David Bowie not only because I've been listening to his new disc Reality over and over but because I am going to see him live Tuesday! Sure, the one effects the other. Either way, this week it's Bowie but I'm having difficulty picking just one track off the new album. It's an excellent disc, and I must say if you like his older stuff you absolutely need to go buy the record now. You will not be disappointed. That said you got your choice of the three I narrowed it down to:

New Killer Star
Pablo Picasso
Looking For Water

Bowie is so fucking cool. I think he's one of the few famous people out there I would actually want to meet. For the most part, I like to keep the illusion alive when it comes to celebrities. Admire them from a distance and all that. No need to see first hand what absolute dicks they can be ~ or how short they are in real life. (Not that I often find myself among the rich and famous) Anyway Bowie is another animal altogether. I would love to shake his hand and say "YOU are the mutherfukinshit man!" Ok, maybe I would attempt a slightly higher level of conversation but I'm sure that's about all I'd get out of my mouth. Oh, who am I kidding? I'd wouldn't have the nerve to say boo to the man!
