This is how it happened. I was perusing the Duran Duran fan forum (yes ~ yes have a good chuckle at that) and came across a message about a new song I'd been wanting to hear called Still Breathing. One of the forum members posted a link to a radio program she had put together on live395. An internet radio network where you can listen to different stations or broadcast your own (for a small monthly fee a'course). Anyway this new song is on her program and since I was working from home yesterday, I figured I'd log on and have a listen. The show she'd put together is roughly a three hour loop of mellow music called Rainy Day Radio. It was rather nice actually.

While waiting for the Duran song to come around I heard a track by Moby called My Weakness*. I didn't know it was Moby when I heard it but rather I remembered it as a song from a particularly sad X-Files episode. I wasn't 100% sure it was the same piece of music since I think I've seen that episode a total of two times. What do you do when you're not sure? You Google. Turns out I was correct and while picking through the X-Files related sites I came across one devoted entirely to David Duchovny. Not unusual by any stretch of the imagination. Now you may or may not know this but I used to be a hard core X-Phile. I was a shipper and had a massive crush on David Duchovny. Funny thing though, I like the Fox Mulder character better than I like the man himself. So, having closed out my current bugs & defects and completed all requested site builds....I proceeded to surf. Let me put that in plain English. Since I had no work to do, I fucked off for a while. Ok, happy?

Having the attention span of a fruit fly, I really didn't spend much time on the Duchovny site. I couldn't care fuck all for what project he's working on (unless it's an X-Files movie), who he's working on it with or where. I did however spend just enough time on it to grab a shit load of utterly gorgeous pictures of the man. I can hear my husband groaning now. Don't worry love, your job is quite safe.

It really isn't fair for a man to be so ridiculously handsome. Not fair a'tall. So since I've recently purchased the rights to jupitershunter.com and with said rights comes unlimited disc space, I thought I'd inject a bit of silliness onto my blog in the form of XY chromosomal cheesecake. Ha! (chromosomal is a real word by the way) I am having way too much fun with this. Hell, I may even make it a permanent part of the blog and add it to my menu links.

*After confirming My Weakness was indeed the song from the X-Files episode, I popped onto the new Napster and bought it for a mere 99¢. And the RIAA said nobody who previously downloaded for free would pay for music. Idiots.
