I can't believe this. I am still sick. STILL SICK! I have zero energy despite taking vitamins all week. Been drinking plenty of water and all that. I've been sleeping a ton and today didn't drag my ass out of bed until 10:30. This bugs me because I generally don't get sick. The last time I was ill was last June during Jeff's Tin Man race at Tupper Lake, NY. I think he thought I was faking it because I wasn't gung-ho to go. It's not that I didn't want to support him at his first big race, I did! But since I am not a triathlete there's not much for me to do during a race weekend. Except be sick as a dog. I think this cold has lasted longer than that one.
Bah.
So this morning around 7:30 after Jeff had left for work (before I went back to bed) I was standing in the kitchen. I had just fed the kitties and had taken my vitamins. I was sorta just zoning out staring through the kitchen window when I see something in my neighbor's back yard. Something I could not identify. It was moving away from me so I could not see a head. The body was dark brown, almost black, much larger than a cat but low to the ground with long fur. It was loping along the way a ferret would with it's back high, sorta bouncing as it went. My reaction: "What the ever muther fuck is that?!!" (I remembered this time) It was into the woods before it occurred to me to grab the binoculars. They didn't help, I only got the back of it before it was gone. Can someone tell me what the Christ that was because I am at a complete loss. Are there giant fucking wild weasels in the woods of Massachusetts? A badger perhaps?? It was not a fox. I've seen a fox and they walk like a little dog. It wasn't a coyote, seen them too and they walk like a mangy, rabid, you should be able to shoot them, dog.
What was it?!?!?!? If you can tell me what was in my neighbor's back yard you get a prize. I don't know what the prize is so don't ask. I need some freakin' cold medicine.
