The latest thread going through the blogsphere seems to be the I'll show you mine if you show me yours routine in regards to a random selection of one's mp3 player. What you may or may not know is I have my entire cd collection ripped to my Zen. A very cool mp3 jukebox which can hold anywhere from 5K to 8K tracks depending on the kbps format. I've yet to fill mine to capacity and with a current tally of 3,731 tracks I wasn't sure if Random All was even an option. In fact, it wasn't. What I had to do was add each individual album to a playlist and shuffle the entire thing. It took longer than expected but the end result was a randomization of all tracks. Following are the first 35 tracks played:
Mirror in the Bathroom ~ English Beat
Alone ~ Heart
Reality ~ David Bowie
