Rainy and cold today. A bummer of a Wednesday all in all. The Bowie concert last night was amazing for the most part. I say for the most part because it would have been fucking amazing but for the lack luster set list. Somewhere in the middle he played about three long, slow songs one of which is the least favorite of mine off Reality (The Loneliest Guy). It's the only track on the album I skip past. Oh well. He did play Sound and Vision which is a long time favorite of mine. It was an odd crowd too, very subdued and quite varied. I had a woman to my right who smelled like moth balls and some young things behind me who didn't know Blue Jean. Strange. All in all a good night. I very much got into my late night drive home by listening to Crystal Method. High Roller in particular. A dark highway driving song if ever there was one. I was going to go on a bit about techno, the joy of five speeds and a solid steering wheel and my love of driving in general but with Ciance's recent experience I felt it would be in poor taste. Some other time perhaps. In the meantime, take a listen to the Song of the Day and imagine a dark interstate with nothing ahead of you but your headlamps reflected in the lane markers.
