What is with this weather?!!? 49F on May 23 is unacceptable! No worries though, Becky and I are off to Virginia Beach on Thursday for five days of sun and sand.
It's not as warm down there as it was when we went last year but mid seventy degree days will feel so nice compared to this crapola.

Still job hunting and doing contract work. Still training for my five mile run in two weeks. Still SLOWLY shedding my winter weight. I'm 7.5 pounds away from where I was last July when I sprained my ankle.

Saw Episode III last week. It's Oscar worthy compared to I & II which I despised. Dialog and acting is still terrible. Ewan and the guy who plays the emperor get all the good lines. And I only groaned out loud twice! All in all, not bad. Wookies were a bit of a disappointment. They really added nothing to the movie.

Also saw Billy Idol in concert Friday. He sounded great and seemed to be having a fun time. Lots of snearing and pulling off his wife beater. The guy is ripped. I guess he's been working out. I love the way he talks, it cracks me up and I'd forgotten how many of his songs I liked. I went to Newbury Comics to pick up a greatest hits and his new album but they wanted $16 and $17 for them!! Give me a fucking break! I ended up buying a ton of dvd's instead since they were having a 2 for $20 sale. I bought Bend It Like Beckham, Grind (for Jeff), Donnie Darko, Silence of the Lambs, A Fish Called Wanda, Coming to America and Lost in Translation. Yeah, I'm a sucker for Coming to America, so what! I embrace my inner loser.
