Still waiting for word on the job interview. I got a message from the staffing agency yesterday afternoon. Of course they called the half hour I was out running an errand. Arg! Anyway, she said they got a message from TJX saying my interview went well and they were expecting to hear something soon. She went so far as to say she thought she'd have some news for me by end of day yesterday. Alas, I have yet to heard back from them. I'm getting anxious! Actually no, I AM anxious.

Job interviews are such a mind fuck I tell you. It's tiring work as well. After the hour or so talking about the job and how great I'd be at it I was exhausted! I got in my car and slumped into my seat like a rag doll. Now I get to go through the best part, the days and days of mental tug of war being waged between the Stuart Smalley in my head (I'm good enough, I'm smart enough and doggone it people like me!) and my ever present self doubt (You suck! Of course you're not going to get the job, duh.). Job hunting is easy...it's when they call you in, look you over and reject you that's hard.

(insert heavy sigh here)

In other news I'm stuck in the house for the next couple hours as I await the carpet cleaners and then perhaps I'll go for a run. I also had a great riding lesson this morning on Cedric. I want to steal that horse! He's so sweet, has such a nice soft trot I can sit to and canters on command. He makes it easy for me to concentate on my form (heals down, lean back, relax!) and just have a good time. I need to bring my camera with me next week so I can take some photos of the ranch cause I know ya'll are just dying for some horsey pictures!
