Almost quitting time on Friday. Worked from home today in the hopes I could get a jump on party preparation. Pesky work kept getting in the way so I got nothing extra done with the exception of painting my nails. They've just dried so time for a quick blog then (fingers crossed) I can log off for the day and get my shit together. Not too-too much left to do. Hang horror movie posters (for decorations), make some dip, make some more skull shaped chocolate candy. Then clean the house but the cleaning will probably wait til tomorrow morning.

My most excellent Jeff met me on the train platform yesterday with roses and wrapped presents in hand! Have I mentioned he's a keeper? Not even my birthday or anything. I am a lucky woman. I got me a good one. Anyway, he bought me a yoga mat and nice cozy jammies. Put them on as soon as I got home, he cracked a Sierra Nevada for me and my stress melted away. Hell, my eyelid even stopped twitching! So my Thursday night was quite nice. Carved a couple pumpkins, had a few beers, watched Survivor and slept like a baby!
