Feeling a bit down today. Unusual for October. I think Autumn is going by too fast and I'm really not looking foward to winter. If it's remotely like last year it will be too much. Last winter was beyond intolerable. Weeks upon weeks of bitter cold and so much snow we had noplace left to shovel it to. That coupled with the Orange terror alerts we were having made it a depressing few months. Was enough for Jeff and I to actually consider leaving the state entirely. Move some place where it was warm all year round.

Fuck it, I'm going to Lucky's for lunch today. Bring my book of short stories and have the lunch pizza special. If that doesn't cheer me up nothing will. I have to go to the mall tonight after work as I continue the search for what to wear on Halloween. I need a red dress. How hard can that be?!

God I hate the mall.
