Lunchtime on Tuesday and Happy Anniversary to me! Been married three years today and my most excellent Jeff has given me a most excellent gift. TiVo! No more missing the latest episode of Coupling (UK version) or Survivor....or anything else I want to watch for that matter! Very exciting. I got me a good man. Think I'll keep him.

Spent yesterday doing happy low-key things. A short hike up Blue Hill. Bought some pumpkins for Halloween and put said holiday decorations up. Less than two weeks until our party. Must hammer out details and finish costume (for the love of god!).

After my usual carb fest weekend I'm back on Atkins. Went absolutely crazy yesterday with the bread and god help me there's still beer in the house! Have dropped about 15lbs total on the diet and would love to shed another ten. I'm thinking I've got to get off my arse and lift the free weights in the basement. (I can just hear Jeff's "well duh!")

Today's dilemma ~ Becky wants to do another Duran VIP trip. This one to DC on Nov. 9. I don't really feel up to it. Granted we had the cool shit time in NYC and Vegas....but $295 for VIP thing plus about $150 for the train down? Nah....the last Duran show was a bit of a bummer (granted it was a multi artists gig) and I think I might be done with it all. Besides, the holidays are coming and I should watch the funds. Hell I'm not even finished spending money on Halloween for chrissake!
